     Gulfstream has recently started our Furniture and Furniture Components Division with our own office and facilities at Sao Bento do Sul, Santa Catarina only  60 miles south of  our Curitiba office. We are located at the “heart of the Brazilian furniture industry” with over 300 furniture plants  which have their own reforestation projects “FSC Certified” otherwise they either buy or complement their raw material needs only from FSC suppliers. Sao Bento do Sul has about 130,000 inhabitants, a very high literacy rate and virtually no jobless people. This pleasant little town  with its  European legacy  has proved to be one of the best working environments  in the South of Brazil  and is very well located making shipments out of the Southern ports not only efficient but very cost effective. The plants’ machinery are mostly from European origin whereas  both ownership  and workforce at the plants share the same well disciplined European culture which we consider a plus for our customers.

     Our wide range of  furniture sets or parts are made of either Elliottis Pine, Taeda Pine and Eucalyptus. Most of the indoor furniture are made of Pine whereas outdoor furniture is mostly made of Eucalyptus.  The furniture items are  pre-finished  to meet customers specifications within a wide price range to suit  customers  market demand.

     We at Gulfstream have the ability to provide you with the furniture product you need, as long as you supply us either your  detailed  designs or the actual piece of furniture or component so that we may have it duplicated for your approval. Gulfstream has also the ability to consolidate in a single container furniture items from several different manufacturers which will help you to  coordinate better your inventory needs, rather than buying at one time one full container of a single item. Our “on the spot” presence with our own consolidation warehouse  in Sao Francisco do Sul will extend to you the benefit of  a better inventory management.
